You will need to check with your school or the appropriate government agency in Australia. Why would you ask such an important question online instead of directly to the official source?

Have you been accepted as an Intern? If no then no you cant stay - there are only 600 odd intern positions available each year and over 800 students graduate - so international students are the last to be given positions (local students who finished in each state get first chance - then local students who have asked to move states and then international students)
