I am a Canadian looking into going abroad to do my masters degree in archaeology,and was wondering about the costs. I know that it often depends on the school, but I am just looking for a rough general estimate based on some of your experiences. Thanks!

It will vary between universities, but a 2 year Master of Architecture course at the University of Queensland is AUD$53,300 (4 semesters @ $13,325 per semester): http://www.uq.edu.au/international/index.html?page=45338

It depends on which faculty it comes over, Arts is cheaper than Science which is cheaper than professional areas like economics, management, etc. Look at around 9-12K per semester, Masters is generally 3 semesters if coursework, 2years if research. Australia does not have a graduate school mentality, we do a Bachelors and then a PhD, you will find that only international students do Masters in Australia. In my Masters I was the only Australian doing the degree through 2 years of intakes.
