If you want to go to University of Sydney it will be a minimum 7 years comprised of: 3 yrs - First bachelors degree in any field that enables you to apply for entry into the dentistry program Plus 4 yrs - Bachelor of Dentistry which is the dental specific qualification Note to progress from your first degree to the dentistry program you apply using the marks (GPA) in your 1st degree plus results from the Graduate Aust Medical Schools Admissions Test (GAMSAT) which you have to take. This may get you an interview then dependant on your interview and GAMSAT results you maybe offered a position. Its quite a lengthy process but it can be done.
