January I believe - they do Jan-December.

The summer holidays start at the end of December before Christmas and you go back to school at the end of January after Australia Day which is the 26th

I want to get some slip on school shoes in Australia and they have to be black leather. (school). They need to be under $130 and preferably lower. I like the Julius Marlow ones but they are too expensive. Also if there is a sale on in Sydney for these shoes i would like to know. Thanks

It wasnt till I came to answer your question that I found you wanted to know only of Syd and Melb. well, sorry, dont know. I DO know there is a good flying school at Parafield which is a suburb of Adelaide. Sorry, but better than no answer at all and thats what you had so far.!Good Luck.
