Hello. I'm from Singapore and wanted to study in Australia badly. how much is the school fees + living cost at Australia? and i wants to study there either after my GCE N level or GCE O level. So do I need to study high school in Australia or so before entering the university in Australia or do i need to study a poly in Singapore till i graduate then go to Australia to study?

Hi, I'm not sure what GCE N level or stuff but I'll share all I know. I live in Australia and am going to high school there. To apply for universities in Australia, one year will cost you aprox $25,000 Australian dollars. It's a lot! For high school in Australia, we have for years 11 and 12 a 2 year program (in Victoria it's called VCE) or you can study the IB diploma (2 years as well). To board at a high school will cost $27,000 for school education and $21,000 to board. That's at one of the top private girls schools, so that's as expensive as it gets. Public schools would be a lot less and I know one that offers homestays for international students. This may be a good option. You don't need to study high school in Australia to get into an Australian university but it would probably make it a lot easier :) How about a high school exchange? If you come to Australia on an exchange (they go to up to a year) to see if you like Australia or to see if you would like to go to high school here before university.
