Being a Primary School Teacher in Australia

Being a Primary School Teacher in Australia?
Could you please indicate a typical day; ie 6am wake up, what time get to/leave school. Can you work 7am-3pm. Do you enjoy it? Why/why not? Do you earn enough for a good lifestyle; what's your lifestyle like? Thankyou for your help.

I teach primary school in New Zealand, but I would think it was similar. I get up about 6:15, head to school about 7:30, arriving by 8. I spend an hour or so getting ready for the day - photocopying, organising resources etc. The students arrive from 8:45, so I chat with them as they come it. The day starts at 9, and we have a break from 10:40-11. I teach from 11-12:30, then lunch 12:30 -1:15 (I have playground duty one play time and 2 half lunchtimes per week, the other days I tend to eat for 10-15 minutes and then back to my room to mark books or prepare for the next session). In the classroom again from 1:15-3.I do my bus roll, which gets me back to my room about 3.10. At least twice a week (usually 3) I have a meeting until 4.30. I usually leave school by 5-5:30. Two or three times a week I bring books or other work home, which is another hour or two after dinner. You could probably manage 7-3 on a Friday, though, as you have the rest of the weekend to finish the work you didn't do in the week. I get paid reasonably well here (as long as I don't work it out as a hourly rate). I can run my car, pay my rent, eat out occasionally, and travel domestically and occasionally overseas. You won't get rich. (you also don't get to take two weeks off in the holidays, either!) Hope that helps

The best film school in the US is either Savannah College of Art and Design in Georgia, or Boston Art College in Massachusetts.

Some of this depends on whether you're more interested in artsy type movies, or mainstream blockbuster types. For mainstream types, I think USC and UCLA have the best track record of getting people into the business. I'm sure the location in LA helps.
3 :
American Film Academy CUNY Hunter (VERY inexpensive, Heart of N.Y.) Ithaca College Those are the few I can think of.

At what age can my daughter leave school at in AUSTRALIA only

At what age can my daughter leave school at in AUSTRALIA only?
I have already posted this question and got answers for the UK and america. We do not live in either. we are in nsw in australia. Please do not send me the reasons why we should not to take her out. Our circumstances are our business and I dont feel I have to justify my actions for what is best for my disabled daughter!

For a non-mentally disabled child it is 17, unless she is in a apprenticeship. I have a niggling feeling that if the child is mentally disabled the leaving age is 21 unless she is in a sheltered workshop.
