Im looking for people who've actually experienced the place, not just "I'VE HEARD.." Prefably a school that teaches more than just hip hop. Anywhere around Sydney is good but i'd prefer it was near the inner west.

I'm from melbourne so I can't say I've experienced dance schools over there. Though I have heard about Sydney dance company(SDC) offering Hip hop classes. Taught by world class teachers such as Yannus Sufandi who was on the Asian sytycd as a choreographer and judge, they also have a lot of guest choreographers such as JD from sytycd Australia. SDC has a very good reputation and world renouned dancers. Knowing many people who have studied there I can say it's a reputable school. They also one of the only schools probably in this country that teach a variety of dance styles including contemporary,ballet ,funk , latin american,JFH which is a combination of jazz funk and hip hop which is taught by Rhiannon Villareal from sytycd Australia. You're actualy quite lucky to live in sydney to be able to take advantage of such an amazing school connected to an amazing dance company.

Australian School of Dance. My first dance teacher was the founder of this and i trained there for 3 years. Its awesome hope you enjoy it and good luck!

You want answers from people who've actually experienced the place - then go to your local dancewear shop. It's their business to know who teaches what and where. Better than phoning around as each school will try to sell itself. Dancewear shops have no ax to grind so will give unbiased opinions (hopefully) so you could try more than one. Good Luck
