The best thing to do when you study abroad is to decide that you will not talk to anyone (including Japanese people) in your native language. Even if you go to a school with Japanese people, you do not have to talk or hang out with them. You can explain to them that while you are in Australia, your goal is to improve your English. If you make friends with native Australians, your English will improve, no matter what school you attend!

Yes, definately. A lot of schools have special education units for those who are struggling to learn. If the particular school you are looking at doesn't offer this, tutors are always available to help. The teacher's main concern is to educate your child, so if you spoke to them I'm sure they could help you out with your child. Remember, communication is the key.

Yes. Nearly all primary classes have access to a teacher aid or similar who will really help the child one on one. Also, sometimes they can take other lessons out of their classroom in smaller groups with children with similar problems. Most schools will cater for your needs, especially private or catholic ones, just talk to the principles. good luck.

Yes for most schools (at least in NSW there is) there are support services within the primary school for children who need special attention. Sometimes a few adjustments might need to be made to the classroom, other times a teacher's aide (special) will be employed for in class tutoring. What you really need to do is get someone who is specialized in dyslexia to tutor your child, you should have been given some sort of referrel when the child was diagnosed with dyslexia. They teach them how to speed read and things like that. Search the internet, schools can do part of the work, but there's only so much they can do.

Do we need to past an exam to go to Marryatville High school in Adelaide, Australia

Do we need to past an exam to go to Marryatville High school in Adelaide, Australia?
Well, right know I go to an all girls school. My mum wants me to go to Pembroke which is high school, which is private. But i have been waiting for 5 years now and I'm still on the waiting list. So, if I don't get a spot my mum wants me to get into Marryatville High and I'm not quite sure if I need to pass an exam or test to go through.
