School year dates in Australia/Tasmania?
I am looking into teaching at an international school in Australia or Tasmania. I read on a website that the school year starts in December. How could this be? If this is the case, then isn't it very hard for international school teachers to enter into and leave a job in this country? This means a teacher would have to leave their job a half year early or not work for a half year in order to start the job in December.
